Skinny Lemon Tilapia
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Serving size: 1 fillet and ½ Tbsp sauce
Ingredients
  • 4 — 6 oz Tilapia fillets
  • 2 Tbsp light butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tsp fresh dill weed, snipped
  • 1 tsp lemon peel seasoning
  • black pepper to taste
  • For Sauce:
  • 2 oz reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 4 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp fresh dill, snipped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease a large iron skillet or baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Place Tilapia fillets in skillet.
  3. Drizzle ½ Tbsp of lemon juice, 2 tsp of melted butter and 1 tsp of dill on each fillet. Season each with lemon peel and pepper.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
  5. While the fish is baking, combine the cream cheese, lemon juice and dill in a microwave-safe bowl for about a minute. Stir at 30 seconds.
  6. Place fillets onto serving plates, and place a heaping ½ Tbsp sauce around them in a decorative fashion.
