Cindy's Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

These babies are Devin's favorite thing in the world. If they were the only thing I made for dinner,  he would eat every single one of them, leaving none for anyone else. This was a recipe from his mission that he had to get from one of the families who fed him often. Thank you Cindy, now Devin asks me to make them about once a week :)

Ingredients:
18 jalapeno peppers halved and seeds removed
1 garlic clove pressed
1 8 oz cream cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tablespoon oregano
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon milk
2 cups crushed corn flakes

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cut each pepper lengthwise and take seeds out
  3. Mix cream cheese, mayo, garlic, oregano and cheddar cheese and fill each pepper half
  4. Whisk egg whites and milk
  5. Dip the top of each pepper in egg wash and then in crushed corn flakes
  6. Place the peppers on a baking stone and bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
