Chicken & Dumplings

Ingredients: 

2 pieces of boneless skinless chicken breast
2 cans of chicken broth
2 cups of chopped carrots
1 cup frozen peas
2 cups bisquik (mixed with 2/3 cup of milk)
2/3 cup of half & half
Garlic powder & pepper to taste

Directions: 


  1. Cut up chicken into pieces
  2. Boil or fry until tender
  3. Cook vegetables (if needed)
  4. Bring broth to bubbling boil
  5. Mix bisquik according to box directions
  6. Drop by small spoonfuls into boiling broth
  7. Cook for 10 minutes
  8. Add chicken, veggies and half&half 
  9. Let simmer on low for 20 minutes
